Isn’t it great when two of your favorite things combine together – just like peanut butter and chocolate – Tattered Angels and Pink Paislee’s Parisian Anthology line are perfect together. The Color Connection kit that works with Parisian Anthology includes some of my favorite colors: Turquoise Blue, Mustard Seed, Cherub Pink and Silver Sugar. I think I would buy Turquoise Blue by the gallon if it were sold that way. It finds it’s way into so many projects.
Speaking of projects, here are a few I worked on this month…
I misted the background with Silver Sugar and used Turquoise Blue for the edges. The ribbons are also misted with these colors. The lace has a little of the Cherub Pink for just a hint of color. Did you know that you can use Glimmer Glam as a fabric stabilizer? I brushed some Chandelier Glimmer Glam on top of the ribbon while it was still wet with mist and then shaped it into a perfect bow. After it dried it’s shape stays exactly the same. No more smashed bows in albums.
Up next a little birthday page for my niece…
The background is a combo of the cherub pink and silver sugar. I used the Turquoise Blue and Pink along with the Butterfly Screen on some basic shipping tags.
Finally, you may have guessed I have a thing for wreaths. I think it my be a hereditary trait – my mom used to make them all the time. For this one I cut butterflies and misted them with Turquoise Blue (now do you see why I need it in gallon size) and Mustard Seed. I love that when these colors blend together you get a nice shade of green.
