Welcome March! I don’t know about you..but here in Nebraska we are so ready for the snow to melt and to be able to welcome SPRING. About this time of year.. after a long “brown” or “white” winter, I’m needing some COLOR! So…. I pulled out some of my favorites from my Tattered Angels Mist, Glam and Glaze to make a few projects on fabric, to bring a little color into my home.
This first project is a hanging I did on a piece I found in a bin at a thrift store..that was originally totally white (with some great stitching around the edges).
Some, spraying , stamping , stitching, brushing and splattering later…. I had a new pretty to hang up and enjoy.
Used: Trunk Bay, Sun Sisters, Olive Vine and Cosmos Glimmer Mist, Pink Lady Glimmer Glaze, and Organic Garden Glimmer Glam. Timeless Romance Stamps and Timeless Romance Screens.
This butterfly piece in the frame was done on muslin, using… Cosmos , Black Cherry, and Bahama Blue Glimmer Mist , Organic Garden , Peach Bellini, and Chandelier Glimmer Glam .
The little pillow I did below was also done on muslin. I used the Crest and Frame screen, Sun Sisters and Pink Bubble Gum Glimmer Mist, and Pink Lady Glimmer Glaze.
Forgot how much fun it is to stitch! I loved incorporating the paints with fabric and stitching. I know it’s something I’m definitely going to be doing alot more of for sure.

What fun colours on these! I love the contrast of the black stitching on the pillow. The framed piece is quite striking, and the canvas is so sweet!
