This month I had a blast working on my art journal. This is the first time I have ever made one so I was a bit nervous about making one. But once I pulled out my chalkboards, glimmer glam and glimmer glazes it was so much easier than I had thought!
For the cover, I simply covered it with Glimmer Glam (Organic Garden). Then I sprayed the chipboard and the butterfly chipboard with Chalkboard (Polka Dot) and (Inchworm). I splashed a little Glimmer Glam (Blue Suede Shoes) on the butterfly along with Glimmer Glam (Be Positive). After the butterfly dried, I added the beautiful pebble by Prima Marketing. I love this cover and I love how the chalk and Glimmer Glam compliment each other!!
I coated the back of the album with Glimmer Glam (Organic Garden) along with Chalkboard (Polka Dot) and (Inchworm). I altered the flower using Glimmer Mist (Bahama Blue), (Spanish Moss), Chalkboard (Inchworm) and (Polka Dot). Doesn’t it look gorgeous?
For this entry, I covered the cardstock with Glimmer Glam (Organic Garden) and stamped circles using the Glimmer Glam (Be Positive). I used Glimmer Glaze (Midnight Rendezvous) to outline the edges and the splashes on the page. For the flower, I used Chalkboard (Polka Dot), (Inchworm), Glimmer Mists (Bahama Blue) and for the edges of the flower, I used Glimmer Glaze (Orange Crush).
And for this page I coated the cardstock with Glimmer Glam (Organic Garden) and (Blue Suede Shoes). For the heart, I used Glimmer Glam (Be Positive) and Chalkboard (Inchworm).
My last project I would like to share with you is a wedding layout. My anniversary was May 8th so I felt it was appropriate to create a layout this month. I got married May 8, 2004. I love how the Glimmer Glaze (Orange Crush) looks here! It is a favorite of mine!
I hope I was able to convince you that Tattered Angels Paints are fabulous! I just love the glittery and glaze looks these paints give to my projects and the Chalkboard is like the icing on the cake!
