Paint System – Color Connection of course! It is my turn now for sharing some ideas how to use fabulous Tattered Angels products on your projects – this time we are playing with Pink Paislee papers!
First of all, I’d love to share my 2 creations made with Pink Paislee Daily Junque Papers and the coordinating Tattered Angels Paints from the Daily Junque Paint System, which are: Aquamarine Glimmer Mist, Dark Denim Glimmer Mist, Pewter Glimmer Glaze, and Organic Garden Glimmer Glam.
The first one is a paper layout – misted and glamed, with a bit of “urban style” – I was truly inspired with the “map” pattern and I think this photo of my husband is a perfect match for it!
And some details:
My second project is far more traditional in style – it is a brown paper bag layout, made with papers from Daily Janque collection, some chipboards, buttons and twine. I really enjoy scrapping our old family photos in that style – the family album is getting bigger and bigger! The colors from Daily Junque Paint System which I used o the chipboards are: Dark Denim Glimmer Mist, Pewter Glimmer Glaze.
My last project is made on my favorite Pink Paislee paper collection – Parisian Anthology, which works just amazing with Tattered Angels paints. The Coordinating Color Kit contains the Glimmer Mist Colors: Cherub Pink, Mustard Seed, Turquoise Blue and Silver Sugar. I just couldn’t resist and used all of them on my grungy-misty layout:
I adore the effect of colors mixing and blending together when using them with gel mediums and gesso – it is pure mixed-media magic for me, you never know the final effect!
