Hello everyone! This month I had so much fun altering metal using different colors of paint by Tattered Angels. I love how this pale turned out. I simply used a sponge to dab the paint onto the pale. I used Glimmer Glam (Blue Suede Shoes) my personal favorite! And Glimmer Glaze (Orange Crush). I love how the Orange Crush gives the pale a rusty look! My husband came in as I was creating it and asked what it was for so I explained to him that I was working on a project for Tattered Angels. He looks closer at the colors and said that it looked cool. My hubby loves what I do and he is very supportive. I’m not sure about your hubby but mine is nuts about Q-tips… He uses them everyday so I decided to use my altered pale to hold his Q-tips.

For my next project, I decided to make a mini chipboard notebook with a metal label. I think Anna will be proud of me this month; I know how much she loves playing with metal. I know… I don’t come close to her talent but I’m happy with my work. LOL. I coated the chipboard covers with Chalkboard ( ) and then lightly covered the chalkboard with some Glimmer Glam (Peach Bellini). For the edge of the chipboards, I used Glimmer Glaze (Midnight Rendezvous). I altered the metal label first by dabbing Glimmer Glam (Blue Suede Shoes) and after that dried, I dabbed some Glimmer Glam (Organic Garden). I added some Glimmer Glaze (Orange Crush) to the flowers in the frame. While the brush was still messy from dabbing the Glimmer Glam on the metal, I dabbed my butterfly.
And here is my last project. I decided to alter a metal frame for my layout. First I painted my frame with Glimmer Glaze (Icicle) and once it dried, I sprayed the frame with Mists (Bahama Blue) from our spring limited edition! I splattered glimmer glaze throughout my layout by tapping the brush gently using Icicle and Waterfall).
Well that’s it for today! I hope I was able to a
dd some inspiration to your day!
Thanks for stopping by!
