This is a great month for us to share some ideas with you , showing you different ways Tattered Angels paints and mists can be used with a variety of products on the market right now. So many beautiful products are a perfect companions for Tattered Angels Paints and Mists. Paper, Chipboard, ribbons, flowers, .. and what about glass, wood, acrylic, fabric, canvas… ect?? The options are endless. Stay tunned here all month.. as we hope to inspire you!
The first of my projects, is this mirror below. I was inspired by a mirror I had seen done up with plain clothes pins. I loved the design concept, but couldn’t not resit the chance to Glam up those clothes pins! So with the help of “Organic Garden” and “Mermaid” Glam. Here’s what I came up with.
I had a hard time getting a good shot with true color, while it was hanging on the wall, but here’s the idea. The photo above shows the actual color best.
The Canvas below, actually started out as a layout, but somewhere during the creative process, plans changed. lol The papers I used were from Bo Bunny, Stamps from Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage. I used “Golden Goddess” Glam , “Cowboy” Glaze, “Caribbean Blue” and “Suede” Glimmer Mist.
I love the look of the Glam and Glaze on the metals, and also on the fabric I added to the sides. Below the Glaze was so fun to add to the torn opening.. to help show it off a little more:)
One last project , it this funky little bottle. It’s started out as clear glass. It’s a good example of how you can use alittle or alot to get the effect you are trying to achieve when used Glam. I added a number of layers directly to the bottle ,but after adding the text print polka dots I only used one or two layers. I used “Mermaid” and “Be Positive” Glimmer Glam on this bottle.
Remember to check back all this week to see more inspiring projects from the Team.
Time to CREATE… it’s your day to shine!
