Masking, Stencils and more!

Hi everyone, firstly I would like to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS for the 2012 Tattered Angels team, I cannot wait to see all the amazing creations next year. So this will be my second last post for 2011, it has been an amazing year working along side all you talented ladies and our DT Coordinator Nat has been nothing short of fabulous!!!

This month we are showing you masking using Tattered Angels products, my first project is this page from one of my Art Journals, I have used one of the Tattered Angels screens, I covered it with texture paste and while it was still wet, I left the screen in place and then sprayed over it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists: Turquoise Blue, Tiger Lily and a touch of Olive Green, I love how the colors all blended. I then lifted the screen and let it try, it will make a great frame for a photo or poem. Another page in my journal, I have use the Tattered Angels butterfly screen and once again with Texture paste, this one I did the texture paste a little bit messier, I have used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists: Olive Green and Denim Blue, when I sprayed the Olive Green I turned the page on it’s side to let the glimmer mist run down the page to create this look.

Last but not least, I created this small canvas, using a Prima brick mask with Texture Magic. I then sprayed with one of our new Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Mallard.
