Another new girl here…

and I am super excited for this glimmery, glammery adventure in 2012!

Good Morning, All! I’m Alissa and I’m one of the new girls here at Tattered Angels for 2012 and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be here and to get the opportunity to play with such amazing product to share with and, I hope, inspire you all to get all glimmeryith all of your mists. I’m in such awe of all the talent I have already seen posted here on the blog this month.

A little about me. I’m a scrapbooker who LOVES to make mini books. LOVE them. In fact, 2 of my projects for my design team entry were mini books, or parts of mini books. I’m really looking forward to Tattered Angels products on other projects, too. Look for some home decor projects in the future. 🙂

I misted the entire background, the vintage check (cut into the pennant banner) and layered on the mist to get the doily just the right color. (I LOVE doilies!)

The Bucket List

This is a Bucket List mini book I am working on. It’s become an art journal, of a sort. I masked the chipboard letters on the cover and misted with Glimmer Mist. (I love the spots and drips, by the way. 🙂 ) I also misted the letter stickers on the mini letter sticker sheet before using them throughout the book. I think it gives the entire book a bit of continuity.

This last project is a page from a Christmas Journal. It’s really hard to tell in the photo, but the layered doily piece is covered in White Chalkboard Glimmer Mist. I love adding the white to doilies and other white paper shapes and letters to give it that cool wintery, glimmery shine.
