Sunny days…

Hello from sunny Sweden…! I am bringing you another bright and colorful layout today. My youngest daughter just turned one and she was so happy and smiling on her birthday morning.

I started out by misting several small doilies in brigth and happy colors. I used Glimmer Mist Aquamarine, Party Pink and Sugar Plum Fairy and Chalkboard Glimmer Mist Firefly. The green doilies are misted with both Chalkboard Glimmer Mist Sprout and Firefly.

The next step was to decide how I wanted to place the doilies on my background. I cut some of them apart and moved them around until I was happy with the placement. I then used my sewing machine to attach them to the cardstock.

I then splattered Glimmer Glam Pink Lipstick over the background, added the photos and embellishments.

I misted the flowers with Glimmer Mist Pink Lipstick and Chalkboard Glimmer Mist Firefly and Sprout. The butterfly was misted with Pink Lipstick and then covered with Glimmer Glaze Mellow Yellow.

I first painted the metallic number one with gesso and then colored it with Chalkboard Glimmer Mist Firefly.
