This month the DT is really letting the creativity flowing.. with Art Journal pages. I have to say, I really enjoyed the creative freedom of making these. I’m used to using images and stamps..which I love, but to just “create” with gorgeous color.. whatever I wanted …. was so fun! I got so caught up in just drawing and painting, I didn’t even add any papers. lol As much as I love creating.. I love music! (Even though I am not at all musically inclined) I am drawn to lyrics… so I chose to incorporate some of my favorites into my first page. Lyrics by Roger Clyne.
I used: Golden Goddess Glam, Organic Garden Glam, Pink Lipstick Glam, and Tide Pool Glam. Trunk Bay Glimmer Mist.
and here is one more page, using most of the same colors, with the addition of Sun Sisters , and Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist.
After that punch of color, I’m really changing gears completely with the next project. It’s the time of year for “weddings”, so here’s a “Wedding” themed project I just finished. When using Tattered Angels paints you have so many options for color. It doesn’t always have to be bright bold colors, you can go very subtle and classy with Colors like the ones I used on this project. The frame is actually a plastic $ store frame that had a mirror in it. It was a very dull silver fame, but I love the frame itself so I knew with a little help, it could be very pretty. By adding Tinsel Town Glam, it took on a whole new look. I used Chandelier Glam on the flower, and then sprayed the project over it all with Irridecent Gold Glimmer Mist.
I hope you get a chance to pull out the paints.. and just CREATE ! Enjoy the process!

Gorgeous Vicki! Those art journal pages are fabulous! Love the black ink and black stitching that really make the Tattered Angels products pop! Lovely wedding frame as well.
