I had so much fun making these Baby Boy Cards! I just love the color combinations of blue, ivory and black with touches of canvas. The great thing about the Baby Boy Word patterned paper is that you can cut out individual words and add them in different places to embellish your card.
One of my favorite Canvas Corp products to use is the jute, rope & twine. As you can see on this card, the jute just helps “tie” the look together.
This card was all about layering elements! I love using Stampin’ Up’s notebook punch to make the paper look like it was riped out of a notebook.

Products Used: Canvas Corp: Blue & Ivory baby words, dot, zebra Black & Ivory stripe & mini dot Black jute Canvas mini round shape Instructions: 1. Cut the Baby Word paper 11″x 8 1/2″ {make sure the words are going the way you want the card to be} 2. Fold in half {optional: ink all of the edges} 3. Cut the dot paper 3″x4 1/2″ and attach just below the middle of the card. 4. Cut the stripe paper 1 1/2″ x 4″ and cut the ends, attach on the dot paper. 5. Cut the zebra paper to fit inside the round shape, choose what word you would like to use and mat it with the mini dot paper. 6. Add black jute to the crease of the card, I went around twice with it.Giggles Card

Cut the Baby word paper 11″x 8 1/2″, fold in half {ink edges: optional} 2. Cut black thickstock 4″x6″, cut the dot paper 3 3/4″x5 3/4″ and punch the side of the paper. 3. Cut the mini dot paper to fit inside the canvas shape and attach on top the dot paper. 4. Choose a word and attach on the canvas shape. 5. Great cards. I love them. Not enough “Boy” cards out there.
