Beautiful Life
I created my base on an 8×8 watercolour paper.
I wanted to create delicate puddles and splashes of Tattered Angels color – they beautifully coordinate with the rest of the project.
The most time consuming part of the project is watercoloring the elements; with Tattered Angels mists, it is also the most rewarding part of the process.
TTIP: To make your flower go a long way, you can cut them in halves and build up your layers by hiding the cut-out edge. It’s an easy way to have more elements to work with.

It’s a delicate layout with a vintage feel to it.
I have added a bit of color to it by watercoloring the flowers fussy cut from one of the Compose Your Life papers.

The paper I used as my base is very neutral and doesn’t clash with any other papers or colors. You can make it match any color-theme you have in mind – just your mists and imagination.
TIP: I have used matt varnish on the watercolored flowers to stop the mists from losing color and oxidising.
