Lots of us are spending our evenings sitting under the warm blankets and reading all the books we didn’t get chance to read during the summer so why not make a nice bookmark that we can use for remembering the pages if not for ourself maybe for our fiend or child. – shares Anges Kieler.
Materials used:
7gypsies Architextures Mixed Media Pad
7gypsies Architextures Trinkets – Ink Pens
Tattered Angels Baseboard Mist Paint – Chocolate Brown
Tattered Angels Stained Glass Paint – Aqua
Sizal
Metal charm from Retro Kraft Shop
Bookmark base
Stencil from TCW
Pebeo Modeling Paste
glue gun, scissors
I outlined the shape of my bookmark onto the paper I decided to use and then I added textured stencil circles with Pebeo paste.
After the paste dried, I glued the paper to the base and prepared little add-ons to create my bookmark.
I made a composition out of all my scrap pieces and added some brown shade on the side of the paper. I glued the Architextures Ink Pen across and added all the remaining small bits of scraps.
And now, it’s time for my final touch, a magical pinch of blue glaze and brown mist.
I hope you will get inspired and create something nice for your books too.
Happy crafting!!!
