BURLAP ZIP MINI TOTE – Summer art bag

Hello! Veronika Galenko here with you today with my summer art bag.
One of the new and popular materials now is eco-leather; it’s available in so many colours and textures.
During my last visit to the shopping center, I saw an amazing bag with eco-leather flowers. This gave me an idea – why not to create eco-leather flowers on burlap bag? So I made this summer bag for my art supplies.
I am really fond of this color combination – yellow and green on brown textured burlap.

I used Canvas Corp – Burlap & Canvas Zipper Tote 5.5″x7.5″, green and yellow eco-leather, glue and buttons.

I cut yellow and green eco-leather flowers with die-cutting stencils and die-cutting machine.

Also I cut green ornaments to use as leaves.

Choose a combination of sizes and colours for the flowers.

As my base, I used Canvas Corp Canvas Bag – Burlap & Canvas Zipper Tote 5.5″x7.5″.

Add drops of glue in between each layer of flower petals to create clusters.

Don’t forget about layering the leaves under the flower clusters, too.

Sew buttoms inside flowers.

It’s an easy and very cute way to add some glamour to your zip tote.
