Coffee & Tea DIY Gift Ideas

Let’s start with this clever little project that Kathy at Kathy by Design created.  She filled a 7gypsies Black Mini Crate (also available in white and stained wood) with lots of paper goodness to make this Coffee Lover’s Birthday Crate.  Crates are great for making gifts as you can slip in little candles, gift cards, secret notes, $’s and more.  Kathy filled her crate with tags, bags, recipes and other crafty paper items starting with the Canvas Corp Beans and Bags Collection and then introducing fun pieces from the 7gypsies Gypsy Moments Collection and accenting them all with fun turquoise blue colors.  Kathy shares the entire project on her blog with all the details to help you create a crate of your own.

Netra shows us how to repurpose a found box and create some amazing coffee and tea coasters with a few little zig zag stitches and fabric from the Beans & Bags Fabric Panel.

Slip a piece of Chalkstock into a frame and write on it with Chalk, a white paint pen or chalk marker and make a sign, menu or recipe for your favorite coffee.

Create a set of note cards with a coffee or tea or blend the two theme.  Start with white, ivory or kraft cards available in a range of sizes with matching envelopes.  You can also make your cards with any of the Canvas Corp Papers as the paper is a cardstock weight.

Create a sweet little burlap stretched canvas with a little pocket perfect for tucking in a gift card, tea bag or recipes for your favorite coffee drinks.
