An easy DIY canvas Trick or Treat Halloween tote bag that any little goblin would love! Every year my daughter wants to get a new trick or treat bag. The inexpensive plastic ones always break when they get too full and a pillow case has no handles so she ends up making me carry the bag for her. So this year I got smart and decided to get a sturdy canvas tote bag and the best part…. we were able to decorate it how we wanted!

You can make the tote to match the costume or make a fun tote that will be “watching you” with these fun google eyes that just make this tote.

Make it all no-sew or pull the sewing machine out and stitch the ticking and cord into place.  This is a great way to show off your sewing skills or test them out were ever you are in your sewing lessons.  Don’t worry no one will even notice if the lines are not perfectly straight, they will think you did it on purpose.

Good quality canvas totes are the way to go for Trick or Treating this season and then recycle them for next year, no plastic pumpkins, no fall apart totes and how cute.
