Hi Jen here from the blog Craft-O-Maniac and I am sharing this super fun and super easy DIY Canvas Witch Boot. The canvas stocking you can get from Canvas Corp. As well as the Tattered Angels sprays.
What you need:
– Canvas Corp large stocking
– 3-4 different Tattered Angels sprays
– ribbons, ric rac, canvas corp colored rope, etc.
– hot glue gun
– liquid starch
– Halloween spider rings (optional)
How To:
I first started by spraying my canvas boot with my 4 different tattered angels sprays. I started from the top and in about 4-5 inch lines/stripes added my colors. I thoroughly let the boot dry. Once it was dry I filled my kitchen sink with liquid startch. I coated the boot on both sides with the liquid startch. Then I rung it out really well, and stuffed it really tight with grocery bags. I set it up and let it dry for awhile. I also took my blow dryer to it, to speed up the drying process. Next I moved onto using my hot glue gun to glue down some fun pom pom fringe, and other ribbons. I also took a bunch of ribbons and tied them to the rope loop on the canvas stocking/boot. Lastly, I took some white spider rings, and cut off the ring part and hot glued them to the witch boot. You are now done.
Lets take a look at the final project.
