DIY Farmhouse Inspired Framed Canvas

Updating your home décor can be as simple as displaying some fun fabrics in a frame. We have in the store some printed canvas sheets that are not only good for coloring and crafting, but framed they make great décor pieces all on their own! They can be used as a 12×12 sheet they come as or they can be cut into pieces and only the chosen elements used in our designs. they can be left natural or painted, misted, stamped on. Crew member, Angelique Jarrier, has used several of our canvas sheets along with some 7Gypsies frames to give her kitchen a little visual interest.

‘Recently, we just finished building a house. This house still needs some finishing work such as paint, but I like decorating it little by little. My kitchen was lacking charm, I wanted to give it the vintage umph. I thought of using the magnificent printed canvas sheets to give it the feel of a French farmhouse. Materials used:
Canvas Corp:
– 12×12 Printed Canvas Sheet – Farmhouse Kitchen
– 12×12 Printed Canvas Sheet – Holiday Baking
– 12×12 Printed Canvas Sheet – Beans & Bags
– Cardstock Paper – Ivory 80#
– Cord- Jute Balls Natural 225′
7gypsies 3X 12×12 Wood Frame – White

STEP 1

Next, we want to take our Jute cord and add it to the backside through the metal ties.

STEP 3

Afterward, to strengthen our canvas, we are going to stick them on thick cardstocks.

STEP 4

The last stage will consist in setting up our collage by slipping the canvases into our frames.
