DIY Bottle Wrap With Winter Style

In many parts of the Worlds winter holds a tight grip on the surroundings. Today Crew Member Agnes Kieler shares a great gift idea inspired by our February Challenge “Cold Weather”. Something to bring to your friends or family when you gather for a nice cozy time! If you have not yet entered our challenge there is still time! We accept submissions until March 5 (use the linky tool you can find in the bottom of the challenge post).

§Winter is here, so why not grab something nice and wrap it in the nice warm package and visit your friends or family to enjoy this time together . This is how I came about this project. I would like to show you how in simple way you can create a perfect gift to warm up the atmosphere and have great time with your family or friends using our products from new Architexture line.

Products from Canvas Corp Brands:

Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Navy Blue
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Silver Sugar
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Pearl
Tattered Angeles High Impact Paint White  Metallic
Tattered Angels Pure Mistable Paper Corduroy 19172
7gypsies Architextures Findings Found Glass Bottle Collection
7gypsies Architextures Treasures Concrete Urn
7gypsies Gypsy Moments 8×8 pad
Canvas Crop 12×12 Canvas Sheet Natural Canvas

Marianne Design die cuts (deer set and tree), A4 size felt, glue gun, sewing machine, scissors, brush.

Step 1: Prepare all the materials you will use to create small tag and winter coat for our bottle. I made a cardboard tag and draw it on the canvas to create the base, after sewing the canvas tag together I slide the cardboard tag on the bottom side and sew the last side of my tag. That made the perfect base to use Glimmer mists and paint.

Step 2: After our tag base is ready,  fun begins and it’s up to you what you will put on it. As the project is a winter coat for the bottle I use bottle sticker form new 7gypsies line called Architexures as focal point on my tag. To create perfect background I sprayed the canvas with Glimmer Mists and after drying I add small scrap pieces from another Architexture sticker (its from concrete urn). It made lovely background together with bottle sticker. At the end I add some nice warm quote and string to attached the tag to our bottle. To make it more useful on the other side of the tag I add small circle magnet so we can use it on the fridge as a paper holder.

Step 3: Our tag is ready now we need to make a winter coat for our bottle to keep it warm. I choose A4 light grey felt. It fitted perfect for the bottle. I sew a zip to it which made it easy to put on and off.

Step 4: Our last step is to decorate the winter coat for our bottle… I decided to put some decorations cut out from Tattered Angels Pure Mistable paper to make more winter image. Our warm gift is ready. Hope you enjoyed it.

Finished project:

Combine craft material, paper crafting & sewing items with a bit of Canvas Corp to create magic.
