Agnes Kieler’s love for all things vintage is undeniable. Her projects are full of warm brown tones and the unique retro feel.
It’s no surprise that she is a big fan of the Architextures collection by 7gypsies.
But let’s Agnes and her project do the talking…
I love everything what is old and vintage so when I saw the 7gypsies Architextures papers with all those nice vintage images I knew I had to have it… and here is one of the many vintage projects which I created from it. Chocolate bar box with vintage elements rich in nice blue colour and brown shades.
Agnes used the following materials:
7gypsies Architextures Mixed Media Pad
Baseboard Mist Paint – Chocolate Brown
Chocolate box base – homemade
Santoro Wooden frame
Retro Kraft Shop: Metal charms and Blue moss
scissors, glue gun
You need to prepare the paper you would like to cover your box with and a base for your chocolate box (you can just outline your original chocolate paper wrapper on white paper and cut it out). The most difficult part here is choosing which paper to use as all papers form this pad are fantastic 🙂 You also need to collect all the small bits that you’re planning to use for decorating your box.
As you can see, I chose a picture of cute dog (you will find it inside the Architextures pad), some wooden frames and scraps of papers and metal bits – now, you just need to create a composition out of these elements. Arrange them however you like. There is no wrong way. Whatever makes you happy, is the right way!
Last stage is to add a small quote or embossed lettering and fold our box.
Remember to add the chocolate bar inside and your perfect gift is ready!
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and will try to create something similar. Remember to show us what you made on the CCB Collective.
