I am on the other side of my daughters wedding, AKA #theepicevent!
and my heart is full of the most WONDERFUL memories.
It was very much a handmade wedding from the get go,
beginning with the invitations I designed.
I have always gone over and above when it comes to my daughter,
her wedding was to be no different!
But there was one catch…..to make the wedding invitations EASY and BEAUTIFUL!
Her wedding color was Plum which just happened to match my “color of the year”
Tattered Angels Black Orchid.
Create your own Easy wedding invitations
The DIY mini pearl daisies were spritzed with water.
Next, dabs of color were added to the edges of the petals.
I cut Ivy from Canvas Corp ~ Kraft paper.
Then I painted the die cuts with Tattered Angels ~ Lime Cordial ~ Glimmer Glam.
I used Sizzix ~ Tattered Floral die and Canvas Corp TissueStock to cut the larger white flowers.
I adhered each layer with a dot of Multi Medium.
Finally, once everything was dry we chose a night to put the invitations together.
My son designed the “invite” which was printed on kraft cardstock and cut to size.
Next, we adhered the “invite” to Canvas Corp Value Pack Greeting Cards ~ Ivory.
We inserted the RSVP post card into the greeting card.
10″ doilies were cut to size and wrapped around our invitation.
A piece of jute was used to tie the card.
Lastly, we inserted the flower cluster into the jute tie.
Our assembly line helped to get the invites done in no time.
Yes….this is my daughter, the bride to be, in all her glory.
