What are Architextures? Inspired by flea market finds and things of the past, Architextures are craftable vintage items you can use for just about anything you wish. The collection is filled with a wide range of different products, icons and textures that are so different from other collections. It is truly fun to create with new products. One of our favorites are the Bovine Beauties or our set of 3 vintage inspired French Cows with Crowns. The detail is amazing and they were so simple and fun to use to create these sweet tags that would perfect bookmark for a French novel or two. Tags or bookmarks, whichever you would like to call them were so easy to make, so we thought we would show you a few photos and a list of what was used and hope that you are inspired to make your own collection with your favorite Architextures Trinkets, Treasures or Findings….you might also check out your local Michaels store where you will find some exclusive to Michaels….Let the treasure hunt begin.
The set of 3 Bovine Beauties feature three different cows with three different crowns, too stinking cute right and they look terrific with Canvas Corp’s Fleur De Lis paper and Toile paper. Both have a great French feel.
The WRITE, CREATE AND PAINT stickers are part of one of the new Architextures Stash Pack – Create that are filled with vintage style labels, ephemera, alphabets, stickers and more….and the black iron-work, yes iron-work is actually a sticker that has dimension and is also part of the collection – Tall Bases – Rosettes. This single piece of art can be cut into pieces and adds great texture and dimension but still allow a flat tag or bookmark.
With all the craft supplies out, why not make a collection of tags in your style, so you can just grab one to add to a gift, mark a box of goodies or slip into a good book. Adding a bit of silk ribbon finished them off perfectly. The 7gypsies Mini Librarie drawer is the perfect way to show them off and keep them nice and organized until you need one.
Architextures if perfect for any craft project, mixed media art piece, home decor ideas and more. You can use them as they are or paint them, ink them, cut them, rip them, etc. there are no rules these days, just have fun.
