French Gourmet Mini Journal

It’s time for our second project of the day – it’s also our second journal of the day! This time, we’d like to share with you a themed French Gourmet journal.
To create this mini-beauty, Beth Byrd used a variety of Canvas Corp papers and embellished them with Architextures Trinkets… let’s see the details!

This is a little journal I created features the 7gypsies Architextures™ Findings – Found Glass Bottles Collection.
It was the perfect embellishment for this project and I love how they add so much dimension to this little notebook.

Small composition book
7gypsies Architextures™ Findings – Found Glass Bottles Collection
Canvas Corp Black and Ivory Zig Zag Rev Paper
Canvas Corp Beans and Bags: Ivory & Black Spoons Paper
Canvas Corp French Design Paper Collection
Red gingham ribbon
Mono adhesive

• I gathered all my materials together to create a little journal with a French Gourmet theme — I thought the 7gypsies Architextures™ Findings – Found Glass Bottles Collection would be the perfect embellishment!
• I layered the front and back of the journal with the Canvas Corp Ivory and Black Spoons paper. I then decorated the edge of the notebook with the red gingham ribbon.
• I cut out an oval from the French Design paper and backed it with Black and Ivory Zig Zag paper and placed that at the top of the notebook.
• My final step was to add the Architextures bottles to give this gourmet journal a wonderful, dimensional touch!
