I owe my husband BIG time for allowing me to have the garage for my workspace (he often reminds me of it from time to time!). I do think its a generous space to have considering I used to work from our tiny box room upstairs.
Im a photographer, freelance designer and a graphics artists combined so I actually spend all day in here.
This is my work area. I stand and create in this spot and have all my essentials to hand. I hate that I don’t have daylight but I manage!
Can you see the box where all my Tattered Angels things are? (at the far right of the picture (above)
Here they lay, all snuggled together in its own handy box
Looking back from the end, the door of the room does swing open to a small utility room which does have natural day light, thankfully, although its not enough to work from alone. I sit at that computer for most of the day answering emails and working on FTP to deliver clients web designs, photos and assorted files.
This is a small space to store all my favourite projects. I love my “Fotofall” display stand which holds all my cards, which I display before I give them away for family occasions.
Going back to the end of my room – this is my cutting area and “projects on the go” area. It also has two printers tray on the wall which I found about 2 years ago and have yet to decide what to do with!
So, my projects on the go………I’m going to ink this mini felt book when the pages are in situ so that the ink runs into the felt too. I’m excited about this project the most, right now
This 7 Gypsies tray has been an ongoing project for AGES. I can’t wait to finish it, it will be a real treasure trove
I have another 7 Gypsies tray here, this one housing index sized scrap pages……….all made from scraps of my scrapbook leftovers!
I wanted to share this picture with you. I was given this bunch of rusty keys with an old tape measure and ladies watch from my Father in Law recently. I feel incredibly lucky because they will be PERFECT for adding vintage touches to future projects.
And finally, I wanted to show you this sweet project. Using my fave ever ever EVER mist colours of Bahama Blue, Olive Green and Marmalade, I made this little wall hanging of my hubby and daughter. I glazed the edges of the frame with glimmer glaze which really emphasizes the boundaries (glaze=my fave product, if truth be told).
I misted my plain white roses. Im in the habit of buying creams and whites of everything now – just so I can change the colour with my mists and glazes to suit. Saves a fortune, if you ask me!
Thanks for looking. Praying for that window …….. hope it comes soon!

As it’s your job it’s understandably an important space to have. As I am an on the side crafter I don’t get this luxury and so am completely and utterly jealous! Lovely space to work in!

Kirsty, what a great room you have. Like the idea of products all snuggled in and organised. Fingers crossed that window arrives for you soon to add to your enjoyment of having a dedicated workspace.

Much tidier than when I popped in there, LOL 😉 You’ve been a busy bee. It’s a fab room Kirsty. Having had all my craft stuff ousted to the loft, I’m very jealous. lv xMx
