Gypsy Moments Layout

Hi friends!

I wanted to show you a layout that was created using the new 7gypsies line, Gypsy Moments. Personally, one of my favorite items from this line are the printed file folders. They are both 4″x6″ and ATC sized so they are not only perfect for storing photos, memorabilia, ATC cards, etc…they’re also perfect for using as background elements and ways to display little bits and pieces in layouts, as well as add some dimension.

This layout uses a mixture of elements from 7Gypsies and Canvas Corp. I just love how the photo of Maddison in the garden coincides with the floral print of the Gypsy Moments file folder. I drew inspiration from the wonderful, Riikka Kovasin for the positioning of this LO.

I used the “Just Because” tag from the Gypsy Moments collection and cut out the “Just a little something I whipped up for you” saying. I loved the font and the colors matched with the overall palette of the layout. You can also see the little lady sticking out of the file folder…she’s from the Ladylike ephemera. I also added some of the Rose Gold high impact paint around the edges to give it some subtle coloring.

Okay seriously, these file folders! It’s like a secret compartment hidden into the page. I’m just in LOVE.

And you CAN’T forget about that ROSE GOLD high impact paint from Tattered Angels. High impact paint is amazing because it has a thicker consistency than a traditional mist. More color coverage.
