Hello everyone! Steph Ackerman here. Today, I have for you three handmade cards that I have made over the last couple of weeks. They are all very different and with a different thought behind them. What they have in common is the products that I used to make them – yes, you’ve guessed it! There’s plenty of Canvas Corp Brands goodies used in my cards!!!
Dare to be Remarkable
I had a silver plated mirror and brush set when I was a kid – my dad got it for me at an auction.
I used to dream about all the things I could be or do when I grew up.
This mirror reminds me of a simpler time and dreams that have come true/or are still waiting to come true!
For this card Steph used:
Architextures 8×8 pad
Architextures Treasures – Tarnished Silver Mirror
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – Times Square, Twinkle Toes
Tattered Angels Baseboard – Sandy Beach
Trimmer, Scissors, Paint Brush
Hampton Arts Stamp
Cut ledger paper to fit card and paint with Times Square Glimmer Glam.
Fussy cut a frame from pattern paper and paint with Twinkle Toes Glam.
Tear floral paper, mat with cardstock and adhere across the card.
Stamp a phrase on a scrap of pattern paper and add to panel.
Adhere frame to card with foam adhesives for dimension and to finish add the Architextures mirror to frame.
Spring Butterfly Cards
To bring some Spring inside, I selected these Spring Canvas Corp papers and chose to color the butterflies in bright, beautiful colors.

Canvas Corp Bikes and Baskets on Ivory
Canvas Corp Butterflies on Ivory
Canvas Corp Spring Sayings on Ivory
Canvas Corp Black Cardstock
Canvas Corp Burlap Tag
7gypsies Black and Ivory Printed Postcard
7gypsies Architextures Parchment Rub-On – Inspire
Canvas Corp Hemp Rope Hank – Red
Tattered Angels Stained Glass – Lemon, Wheat, Lavender, Hot Pink
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Party Pink
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze – Kelly, Saffron
Trimmer, Scissors, Adhesive
- Using premade cards, use black cardstock and the Bikes and Baskets papers for the card bases.
- Cut apart the Spring Sayings panel. Fussy cut apart seperate butterflies. Paint the butterflies with Stained Glass paints.
- Glue the burlap tag to the card. Mat the Spring Sayings panel with black cardstock. Add the 2nd butterfly on top, adhering just the center, letting the wings be free.
- For the second card, mat a postcard with black cardstock. Wrap with Red Hemp.
- Fussy cut a large butterfly and paint with Stained Glass paints. Add additional color with Party Pink Glimmer Mist Add to postcard with foam adhesives. Add a rub-on in the bottom corner.
- Add the postcard to the card with foam adhesives.
Vintage Market Card
I love the packaging of the Architextures Treasures and decided to use it as the inspiration for my card.
My dream is to do some traveling in the near future and this card sets that dream in motion.

Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam – Times Square
Tattered Angels High Impact Metallic Paint – Rose Gold
Trimmer, Paint Brush, Foam Adhesives
Cut the package backing to fit the center of the card and create the background for your truck.
Cut various phrases from the Artichextures paper pad and adhere with foam adhesives.
Paint the truck with Times Square Glimmer Glam.
Once dry, use your finger to add Rose Gold Metallic Paint to the wheels and 7gypsies sign.
Add the truck to card starting on it’s dream journey.
