How to Make Happy Valentine’s Day Cards with Canvas Corp

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a set of Valentine’s Day cards.

Supplies:
Canvas Corp. Black on Ivory
Canvas Corp. Hearts on Ivory
Canvas Corp. Red on White
Tattered Angels Strawberry Ice Chalkboard
Just For Fun Rubber Stamps
Sizzix Dies
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Ribbon

One card was created from Red cardstock and the 2nd card uses a card base with Red cardstock as it’s first layer.

The Heart paper was painted with Strawberry Ice and was then cut to size for both cards.

Varying sized hearts were die cut from the papers.

The square heart layer was ink, then matted with black cardstock.  Ribbon was tied around the panel and the panel was added to a red card.

The smallest heart was embossed and lightly inked.  3 different sized hearts were added to the card and a phrase inserted between the layers.

The small heart panel was matted with cardstock and added to the card.  The small heart was embossed and added to a larger heart.

The phrase was added slightly under the heart.
