hello march…

It’s almost spring and I, for one, am so excited about that. So tired of the cold, wet weather. To cheer us all up, I got a few projects to share with you.

A fun springy card. The background and doily are misted with chalkboard mist.  Card blank and papers are from Canvas Corp. The chevron stencil is from Crafter’s Workshop.

I love these moleskin books. I love to keep lists and to draw sketches and these grid paper notebooks are perfect. The background is a mistable paper from Pink Paislee. I used dark denim Glimmer Mist on the paper, aquamarine Glimmer mist on the silk ribbon, organic garden Glimmer Glam on the wood letters and pewter Glimmer Glaze on the wooden button from Prima.

Lastly, a layout with a couple of my favorite girls. The background is misted with aquamarine Glimmer Mist and the edges of the the layout and journal card are painted with an older Glimmer Mist called simply khaki. any lighter brown would do just as well. More of the silk ribbon from the notebook project. (I love how ribbons look when misted with the beautiful colors of Glimmer Mist)
