A few years ago, as I was wrapping gifts, I realized I had run out of gift tags. I was in my pajamas and really did not want to leave the house to go buy some, so I made a few. Ever since then I have been making our Christmas tags for all our gifts. This year I saw the Jolly Christmas line in the CCB shop and knew they would be perfect. They are fun and bright! Two of my favorite things. Of course I ordered more than just the Jolly line. I pulled in a few lovely other Christmas pieces as well.
I first cut out all the elements from Sentiment sheet to use as embellishments on the tags.
These large gifts on the mistable paper are gorgeous! I wanted to paint them!
I used a few different mists with a paint brush color them in.
They turned out darling and matched perfectly!
I used my Scan n Cut to cut them out and set them aside.
For the black based black and white paper I glimmer misted it with several coordinating colors.
I did the same for the white based sheet.
Once the paper was dry, I created my card bases using a tag die.
I cut slightly larger tags out of solid card stock to mat the tags on and use as a base.
Finally the super fun part — assembling the tags! I pulled in a little bit of bling with sequence I had in my stash, but other than that I only used the Jolly Christmas and mists!
I made a total of 20 festive and very jolly tags!
However, I still had a few bases left over and created my favorite project from this collection — A Santa banner!
This will be darling on a large gift!
Make sure you stop by the shop to pick up all your Christmas paper crafting needs!
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
