MAKE YOUR OWN FAIRY TALE CRATE

What do you do with that stack of photos from the wedding that are still in the photo envelopes or the ones that did not even make it out of the computer or cell phone?  Why not a Photo Crate that is filled with beautiful wedding themed file folders that are ready to be filled with photos from the engagement, the shower, the wedding, the reception and the honeymoon.  You can create a file for each chapter in the wedding.

Things you will need: (the Mix and Match pad has a nice selection of wedding papers, burlap, printed fabric and kraft paper – or you can buy the papers individually)

The Ivory and Black file folders have 2 each of 3 different designs and offer a great place to start.  You can add sayings from the His and Hers Sayings and then watercolor with coordinating Glimmer Mist – Silk to add a touch of color.  Just shake the bottle side to side and pour into a cup and apply where you want with a small or medium brush.

Fussy cut assorted artwork from the papers or the printed fabric in the Mix and Match pad and add to create this fun divider for the crate.  You start with and of the 4×6 pieces from the Little Pages and then layer with papers, sayings and then decorate with the wedding images.  You can add touches of Glimmer Mist to the fabric to tint it as well.

The Little Pages are great when cut up into 4×6 pieces and you can use to add special notes, dates, info about the honeymoon.  The are great dividers and give some height to your crate.  We added a charm from the 7gypsies Paris Charm – camera.

You can create fun little pieces to add to your crate like this tied stretched burlap, you can add photos to the flip side.

You have many options for decorating the outside of the create from paper craft style to a simple layer of burlap flowers.  Fill your crate with all your handmade goodies and then pile in the photos, postcards and moments from the wedding.

You can also take it to black, silver and ivory and keep it even more neutral.
