Misted and Stenciled Canvas Pillow

I’m so happy to be showing you my second Tattered Angels Stenciling project this month!  The stenciling inspiration on the blog this month has been incredible.  I hope you’ll take a minute to look through all the wonderful projects.

I find myself being drawn to home decor and canvas right now.  I have incorporated the two into a Misted and Stenciled Canvas Pillow.

The Canvas Pillow is by Canvas Corp. and is 14″ square.  The perfect size for altering and embellishing.

I chose my favorite colors of Chalkboard Glimmer Mist in colors of Admiral, Seven Seas, Teal High Heel and Splash.  I laid the stencils on the pillow and began misting from the bottom of the pillow up.  I chose to start with darker colors and work my way up.  I removed the smaller stencils and filled in with more color.

I also misted the Nestaboard Dress Form by Want2Scrap with French Vanilla Chalkboard Glimmer Mist, then adhered Want2Scrap matching bling.  French Vanilla was used on the  cotton trim by Pink Paislee.

I adhered more trim with Helmar Fabric Glue, and also adhered the Canvas Corp Black Flower to the pillow as well.  I finished the pillow by attaching more Want2Scrap Classy Corners – Class Bling to the two top corners.  I added  some black pearls.

Thanks for stopping by to today!  I really appreciate it!

You can see my first stenciled project, Canvas Envelope and Postcards here!
