More Cards featuring Epiphany buttons

Hi Everyone, JJ here with some more cards featuring Epiphany buttons.

For my first card I started with a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background.  I painted Glimmer Glam (Tutu Pink, Chandelier) directly on the folder, then spritzed with Pomegranate Glimmer Mist.  Then I placed the cardstock in the folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug.   I love the effect this gives the embossing.    The stamps are from the “Timeless Romance” set.   The aqua piece is from Pink Paislee’s Parisian Anthology collection, spritzed with Patina glimmer mist.

For the buttons, I started with dictionary paper, spritzed with Pomegranate mist, and once dry I put it into the Epiphany button tool.  Instant, perfectly matched embellishment!

For my next card, I masked the background with a simple french curve template and lightly misted with Frost glimmer mist.

The chipboard snowflakes were primed with gesso, then misted with Frost glimmer mist and painted with Tinsel Town glimmer glam.  The buttons were created by spritzing cardstock with Moonlight glimmer mist, which I placed in the Epiphany tool.

I added a little Chandelier glimmer glam to the sentiment tag, on the upper edges.

For my last card, I spritzed a Cuttlebug embossing folder with Silver Sugar glimmer mist, then put my cardstock in, and embossed.  After it was dry, I lightly brushed with Sassy Silver glimmer glaze, to add a little more silver shimmer.    For the pink strips, I sprayed cardstock with Pink Bubblegum glimmer mist, and then embossed while the cardstock was still wet.  It gives a little different effect than if I had waited til the cardstock was dry.

The flocked acrylic is from the Heidi Swapp collection from Tattered Angels.  I sprayed it with Cinder glimmer mist, and painted the back with Sassy Silver glimmer glaze.   The Epiphany buttons are backed with more of the Pink Bubblegum-misted cardstock.

I hope this makes you want to dig into your mists for your next card!  Thanks for looking!
