Lynne is sharing her little man with us today in this altered layout that is filled with all the things we love, kraft, paint, special words and a sweet picture. We love that are papers are ready to be cut up, fussy cut, layered, stamped, inked, distressed and they can become of any page ideas you can come up with. Just add a touch of ink or paint to make the color palette you own.
My Little Man…..
Hi Canvas Corp Fans….Lynne Forsythe here!
Have you seen the
ADORABLE baby boy papers by Canvas Corp Brands
Snips n’ Snails sums up their collection of Little Boy papers – p.s. you will find the Sugar & Spice Collection for little girls too.
As I have an ADORABLE grandson….
I thought I would try them out!!
I began my “Little Man” page by cutting up
Baby Boy Quotes on Ivory into strips.
There were soooo many AMAZING sayings,
it was hard to pick which ones I wanted to use!!
I applied Gesso to the my piece of Kraft Cardstock
and pushed the quote strips into the gesso.
(I did have to use a bit of liquid adhesive to the places
that didn’t adhere properly!!)
Next, I pulled out a bottle of
Tattered Angels ~ Glimmer Mist ~ Jack Frost
filled a dropper with the shimmery goodness
and let the splattering begin!
The other ADORABLE paper in this collection is
It’s A Boy on Ivory
I chose images that spoke to who my “Little Man” is
and cut them out. I colored them and accented the images
with watered down
Tattered Angels ~ Glimmer Mist ~ Jack Frost.
I went rooting around in my bins of Canvas Corp Brands goodness
to find some “texture” to add to my layout.
A bit of CCB E~Flute Chocolate
Teal Burlap Sheet
Of course, I needed to rough them up
with a bit of Glimmer Mist
Jack Frost and Roll Top Desk
I had some left over chipboard that I added a bit of texture medium to
and colored with the previously used Glimmer Mists and
accented with a bit of Gesso.
I hope you have enjoyed my “Little Man” page….
and my “Little Man”!!!
