We are obsessed with banners around here! They are so fun, funky and add a little creativity to any space. Today we are showing you how to make the perfect western-themed banner using Canvas Corp’s Boots and Saddle Collection. It’s fun and easy, but definitely a show stopper – the perfect accent to any little boy’s room, playroom, man cave or even outdoor living space for your next western themed party!

Step 1: The first step is to cut your desired number of flags out of the printed papers – we chose to do 6. You can either cut them all the same shape or you can mix it up like we did! We ended up doing 2 square flags, 2 swallowtail flags and 2 triangular flags.
Step 2: Now, the fun part – decorating your flags! Here, you have creative reign. We took bits a pieces of our papers, fringes, cord, hardware and tags and decorated each flag uniquely. Just cut, arrange and glue – easy as that!
All of these papers go together seamlessly, so any combination you come up with is bound to look good!
Step 3: Now, all you have to do is punch two holes in the top left and right corners of each of your flags and string the cord. We also added a few little pieces burlap and canvas fringe in between the flags to add a little more flare.
Step 4: Enjoy your simple, but down right cool western-themed masterpiece!
