Organize your recipes in one hour- September Challenge “Let´s get Organize”

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today and I am going to share an easy and fun project made for our September” Let’s orginize” challenge.

Usually I am not a very orginized person when it comes to cooking of baking. Actually I don’t like both and I do them both if needed, but not because I like it.

I don’t even keep any recipes as you can find them all over the web if you really need them. But then most of my friends love cooking or baking and  as I do love crafting it was a real fun to make this easy to make and very lovely vintage style recipes stand as a present.

So even if you are  not a big cooking fan , but you love 7 Gypsies products to craft with, this is a project for you to try.

This  pocket stand was made with a piece of black chipboard 12*6” size that was folded to this triangle stand and then two dimensional pockets were added to keep the recipe cards inside.

The whole project takes less than an hour to make and it’s a pure paper crafting project- clean, not messy and even olde kids can help you with it or to make it on their own.

step 1

Score 12*6” black chipboard piece on 9 1/2”, on 19” and on 11 1/2”. Fold the scored lines and glue the last 1/2” scored fold to make the triangle stand. Don’t glue it yet. Trim cardstock to 7 1/2*4”. Die cut half circle in the middle as shown. Score the sides and the bottom on 1/2” and 1/4” on all sides. Glue the pocket over the black chipboard as shown.

 Trim another cardstock piece in the same way, but this cardstock piece is just in 7 1/2*2 1/2” size. Glue it over the first pocket. This time die cut the half a circle in smaller size.

step 3

 Cut a piece of Architextures sticker from Parlour pack and glue it over the lower pocket. Make an embellishments cluster with small Kraft paper bag, two pieces of ephemera and three glass bottles arranged one over another.

Add stickers’ title over the front of our stand.

Cut the recipes from the cardstock and add them inside the stand as shown.

Your recipes stand is done! Enjoy it!
