Lynne Joncas came up with a solution that will make your life not only easier but also prettier – make sure you check out her cool password keeper.
I needed a way to keep track of the zillions of passwords I have(and keep forgetting), and knew I would misplace a notebook, so I used some mini envelopes/tags that came in a prize pack I won, but you could very easily make your own.
Materials used by Lynne:
7gypsies papers: Gypsy Market BETI & TAS, Gypsy Moments Express Yourself, Wanderlust Take Chances
7gypsies Architextures Junque Pack – Garage
7gypsies Architextures Parchment Rub-Ons: Live
Canvas Corp 12×12 canvas sheet natural
Canvas Corp Printed Tags – Feathers
Melissa Frances mini envelopes and tags,
Various inks, various metal and wooden embellishments
dollar store letter stickers and 1″ metal ring
Ranger Matte Medium
glue stick and white glue
single hole punch, paper trimmer, scissors and small detail scissors
I punched a hole in the bottom of each envelope and cut the corner of the tag off so it wouldn’t be attached by the ring. I cut patterned paper just a little narrower than the envelopes and covered each one. I used a lot of images from Architextures packaging to embellish them – I love how decorative and useful that stuff is! I used plain canvas to make strips to tie onto the tags, and added categories with tiny letter stickers, then brushed them with matter medium to make sure the letters stayed put. A few random ribbons tied to the ring and it was ready to be filled with passwords, then hung on a hook in my craft room!
Are you ready to make your life easier?
Have a great day!
