We are always being inspired by the companies and products around us. Every company brings its own unique vibe to the table and we love to see how well our products play together! Today we are matching up our Tattered Angles Paints with Galeria Papieru. Galeria Papieru is a Polish Based Scrapbooking Company that specializes in amazing paper designs. The collections bring to mind quilt quarters, but they are indeed all paper.
They have been around since 2010 and since then, have created hundreds of beautiful acid free papers. They offer double sided papers (2 x 6 double sided patterns), 12 x 12 inches (30,5 x 30,5 cm), acid and lignin free. Bonus surprise pattern on inside cover in a wide range of themes and designs in paper stacks. The papers are all 200gr/m² and designed and printed in Poland. They ship world-wide and you can find information about all the collections on their website.
The layout bringing them all together…
– In a beautiful intermingling of products and brands, Zuzia shares with us this breathtaking mixed media layout that she created after seeing some gorgeous flowers in her parents’ garden –
Her artistic interpretation of the flowers is absolutely inspiring. She flawlessly recreates the life, color and fullness of these flowers in her mixed media piece featuring her daughter, Julia.
Zuzia accented her layout with Prima Flowers and it is fun to see the inspiration. When choosing you color palette it is a great idea to start with a photo, inspiration, even a designer dress to give you a place to start, then you can match up the paints, papers and embellishments making it so easy to bring it all together.
The detail is amazing! This is what happens when good products from good companies come together. Tattered Angels Mists are so versatile and will adhere to a wide range of materials – These paints are great on solid color papers, but add a great texture and touch of color to printed scrapbooking papers. This project leaves us saying, “Let’s do this again sometime!”
