We love our product match ups where we get to play with other products and see how well they play with ours and Lynne had a ball when she brought the vintage papers of American Vintage together with Perfect Paints and wow the results are pretty spectacular. These textured mediums add amazing dimension and as an added benefit have virtually no odor.

to share with you my latest layout using
Canvas Corp Brands and the newly released Perfect Paints.
I think it’s good to revisit your creative roots….
and for me….that is scrapbooking!
But my challenge this time around
….they are “boy” pages!!!
So….what does one do when they really can’t use flowers???
Use LOTS of TEXTURE!
One of the things I LOVE about Canvas Corp Brands….
there are LOTS of textures to choose from!
The background for my layout is a piece of Kraft Cardstock
and for a bit of color, I pulled out a few sheets from
7gypies ~ American Vintage Collection.

For texture I chose Canvas Corp Brands
Burlap Sheet ~ Dark Blue with
a piece of C~Flute Kraft and
roughed them up by
tearing
scrunching and
inking.
For additional texture I applied
Perfect Paints ~ Polishing Plaster ~ Apricot Lily
through The Crafter’s Workshop ~ Specimen Stencil.
I used a bit of a heavy hand for LOTS OF TEXTURE.
I also applied Perfect Paints ~ Polishing Plaster ~ Dried Cranberries
to the Creative Embellishments Love Knot Panel I used. PERFECT!
I don’t know about you but I love it when
I’m forced out of my creative box….
I have to say I feel….what my grandson
is expressing in this picture….HAPPINESS!!!
