Our new 7Gypsies papers, Gypsy Moments, have pleasantly surprised us when we sat down to create Easter crafts. A simple bunny silhouette cut from our fabric inspired papers are simply beautiful on a burlap table runner backdrop.
We attached the paper rabbits to the burlap table runner with a zigzag stitch. While this runner is perfect for your Easter table, it is not ready for your washing machine, we love the look so well we were ok with that.
To create the bunny tails simple glue a clump of burlap into place right where the tail needs to be!!!
Another fun way to use our silhouette bunnies is to create a canvas with them. This canvas was misted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to create this dyed fabric look, with a simple mini banner cut from the pieces of Gypsy Moments Papers and added to lace. We chose Canvas Corp Pink Burlap which is a beautiful vintage color and added our floral bunny to top it off.
Creating these paper wrapped vintage eggs is easy. You start with a plastic Easter Egg, a great way to recycle those old eggs. Wrap them with small cuts of paper and finish them off with lace, cord, vintage pins and charms. What a great way to share a special message on your Easter table this year ‘strength.’
This vintage garden party would not be complete with out this fun mantel, side table or buffet decor. We took old wood slats and painted them white and simple clipped our decor onto the slats with Canvas Corp clothespins. This makes changing your seasonal decor quick and easy and your display can be moved or put away for a season as you prepare it for a new look.
