Some more luscious canvas and Tattered Angels

Yeeha, my turn 🙂

Playing with Canvas and Tattered Angels paints was just so much fun, I am learning so much about what these paints can do. I have spent the whole month working on these (and more) projects and am so impressed with the finished items. First up a stretched wall canvas 24″ x 24″ ….I started with layers of texture from things I found lying around, covered it all with gesso then put multiple layers of mists (Tattered Leather, Harvest Orange, Forest Green, Mustard Seed, Suede, and Copper Glimmer Mists, Hot Chocolate Chalkboard Mist). I used black paint to stamp the butterflies, the biggest one is a Tattered Angels ‘In Flight’ clear stamp. I mixed some Riptide Glimmer Mist with texture paste and applied it to the canvas with a syringe to make the swirls and dots but the glimmer was lost so I have painted over it with Sugar Cane and Waterfall Glimmer Glazes. Here is a close-up of the texture

Project #2…
I found these canvas shoes at KMart for $3 and couldn’t resist, they started off white…

Products used include Puerto Rico (Spring 2011 Ltd Ed.), Lavender Fields, English Ivy, and Tuscan Sun Glimmer Mists, Cornflower Chalkboard Mist, Orange Crush and Oil Slick Glimmer Glazes, Golden Goddess Glimmer Glam. and for the close-up so you can see the sparkleAnd lastly a simple scrapbook page, I bought a pad of canvas sheets from the local hobby shop and used some screens with Key Lime Pie, Forest Green, and Rum Punch (Spring 2011 Ltd Ed.) Glimmer Mists, and Organic Garden Glimmer Glam. The title is done with foam alpha stickers painted with Oil Slick Glimmer Glaze.
Awesome fun, I am totally loving these paints and the effects I can get, you simply must try them!

I REALLY love what you did both with the canvas (love the dots and alpha with texture paste) and the LO (great color scheme for that photo and love the oil-slicked letters).
