Summer might be winding down to an end, but the hot weather hasn’t quite left us yet! A favorite activity to do is to sit out on the porch with a refreshing drink in hand. Whether you prefer lemonade, sparkling water, mint julep, or something completely different, you may want a fun way to organize those drink recipes! Viktoriya Porechnaya is sharing her own clever way of storing her drink recipes and we absolutely love it!
This hot summer you need more refreshing drinks! So you can made this funny box with your favorite recipes. I used a round spread cheese box and bright Canvas Corp papers for it . I’ve had so much fun when coloring the black&white images! – says Viktoriya.
For this project you will need:
Canvas Corp paper Lemonade & Sweet Tea Saying on White
Cocktails & Dreams on White
Blue & Ivory Chevron
Yellow & White Mini Dot Reverse
Hot Pink & White Mini Dot Reverse
Yellow & White Dot Reverse
Circle box from cheese
Glue
Big Shot Cutting machine
Circle die-cuts
Scissors
Markers for coloring
From Canvas Corp papers, cut circles in different sizes using Big Shot and die-cuts.
Print your favorite cocktail recipes and images.
Use circles in different colors as a background for the recipe pages.
Fussy cut drink images from Cocktails & Dreams on White paper.
Color the images with markers or TA mists.
Add the colored images as embellishments to your pages.
Cut circles and strips and glue them to the cheese box to make a matching container for your recipes.
Decorate the lid with colorful circles and colored images.
Put your recipes in the box.
You can also make a card using the leftovers.
What a fun and clever idea for storing those drink recipes! Make one for yourself and one to give to a friend! We love how Viktoriya recycled the empty cheese boxes, as well. It is always wonderful when you can use what you have on hand and the little box is just the right size for this project!
