This gypsy recently attended the Creativation Show in Phoenix, Arizona in which Canvas Corp Brands is a major vendor of showing all their new wares to craft industry consumers and organizations. During this trip, my buddy, Cheryl Stapleton and I took a taxi all the way to the other side of town to visit Sweet Salvage. It was worth the $30 taxi bill! I had seen and heard of this store that is only open 4 days a month and the rest of the month their vendors and themselves revamp the whole place, bring in new salvage inventory and when they open their doors it is swamped. You have to be there early for the good stuff. It was a complete eye candy trip that filled this vintage girls soul to the brim!

When you first approach the store, it is a little surprising. It is in an older part of town that is a bit run down and the building looks so much smaller than you imagine, but still cute. However, looks can be deceiving, and in this occasion it definitely was. When you first walk in, it makes your heart race immediately…

There is very few words that are better than a whole lot of great, drool worthy vignettes.
