Canvas Corp papers with the variety of designs and colors give the inspiration to use them in alternative ways and create one if its kind projects like this necklace crafted by crew member Kyriakos Pachadiroglou. Transform a simple checkerboard paper from Canvas Corp into pieces of jewelry with a touch of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists in easy and quick steps.
“Thinking the checkerboard paper as tiles to be worn, I made this necklace in a black and white contrast. Add more pieces and create a larger necklace to match your style.” – as Kyriakos says.
Materials used
CCB Black & White Big Check
Tattered angels Glimmer Mist – Pearl
Embossing ink – clear
Embossing powder – clear
Jump rings and bead spacers

Step 1 – Cut the pieces from the checkerboard paper. For this project, you will need 5 black and 7 white squares. Spray them with the pearl mist and let them dry.
Step 2 – Using the clear ink and the embossing powder, cover the paper squares. Repeat for a fine a result.
Step 3 – Punch small holes at one of the corners of each square. Add jump rings and spacer beads.
