We continue our journey across the US searching for amazing vintage shops and sharing them with you and today we’re sharing some spots we have found in Arizona, and we’d love for you to share any we missed in the comments section!
It’s been pouring rain here at Junk Gypsy headquarters for the last week or so, which makes it tough for junk pickers. Thankfully, while we have a soft spot the size of a ’57 Chevy pick-up truck for curbside treasures and barn finds, we do love to visit perfectly curated shops and antique malls full of goodies.
The Rustic Hutch – Mesa

How many vintage and antique malls do you know of that have been around for almost 20 years? I don’t know of many, but this one has! They call themselves “a cozy country home and gift shop”, and the photos on their Facebook page seem to back up that claim with pics of painted furniture, unique accessories, and home décor. Also, they have a sweet pooch in their profile pic, so you know they must be awesome.
Audrey’s – Phoenix
https://www.facebook.com/audreyshopaz
This shop offers a great mix of true vintage items mixed with some things that look like they are vintage-style. Cute pillows and such… and we’re just fine with that! They are also a stockist for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. (They also offer workshops and other A.S. products.) There is a blog as well, where they feature all the delicious images of vintage inspiration you can ask for, and tutorials for chalk paint projects.
Pearly Mae’s Resale – Phoenix
https://www.facebook.com/pearlymaesresale
This vintage mall hits the mark with photos of vintage luggage, furniture, décor, lighting, clothing, and everything in between (our favorite category!). I especially love the collection of cowboy boots – I mean, can you really call yourself a Gypsy without at least one pair in the closet?? I think not.
The Tattered Nest Vintage Marketplace – Scottsdale/Phoenix
http://www.tatterednestvintagemarket.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/TheTatteredNest/
This shop was voted “Best of Scottsdale” last year, so you know they’re doing something right. The photos online are chock full of cottage-style furniture, accessories and décor. Think pastels, white upholstery, lightly distressed… They also offer classes at the shop. It looks like their website/blog is under construction, but they update their Facebook page more often.
Gather: A Vintage Market – Tucson
http://www.gathervintagemarket.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/Gatheravintagemarket
Well, it’s not a shop, but I think you’ll forgive me for coloring outside the lines a bit on this one. This once-a-month, 4-Day vintage market in Tucson features ten vendors selling antique and vintage furniture, décor and unique finds for your home and garden. The market is staged in lovely vignettes, rather than booths, so you might get lost in the photos!
Thank for traveling across Arizona with us and if you have any recommended shops you can tell us about we would love to add them to our post, just email us at hello@canvascorp.com
