Vintage Varsity Sports Photo Layouts

We continue our travels back to our favorite 7gypsies collections and this week it is all about Vintage Varsity, the perfect collection for school years, senior year, graduates and those who watch and play sports.  With a wide range of sports covered from golf, football, wrestling, cheerleading, baseball, basketball and a few other fun team sports.  The vintage feel makes it perfect for sports photos of today and photos from the past.  Sheila kicks off our week with this fantastic series of layouts that show off this great collection in so many ways.  Fantastic ideas that will make you want to go through all those sports photos you have taken over the years and create something really special.  Pop them in a book or frame them in 12×12 frames and put them up on the wall for all to see.

If you are like our family, sports have been a part of our family over the years.   From football and basketball, to baseball and golf, we have sit and watched our children grow up playing and forming friendship on and on the field.

I created four unique layouts using the  Vintage Varsity line of papers, stamps and tags.

On the Naked Tickets, I distressed it using brown ink and then stamped it using the Vintage Varsity Stamp Set.

These papers are so versatile that you don’t always have to use them with heritage photos.  They can give a time-worn vintage feel to new photos.

I used the Black Chalkstock and used my white pin to add accents and journaling.

Then I layered the Mini Ephemera Vintage Varsity Tags, burlap and photos.

For each of layouts I used the Canvas Pennants.

I distress the pennants with brown ink.

Then stamped them with the Vintage Varsity Stamps.

Then I brushed on  Tattered Angels High Impact Paint in Platinum and Light Gold.

I let them dry and then added them to the layouts.
