Featured Bloggers will have a one-off feature at some point during the term with a couple of CC-based projects. Guest Designers are our more regular guests and you will get to see them more often throughout the remainder of the year.

Here’s what they say about themselves…
Angela harkness – guest designer
Hi, I’m Angela from Durham in the North-East of England. I live with my husband, my 16 year old niece and my four pussy cats! I’m a big lover of all things handmade, whether that be fabric crafts, paper crafts, crochet, knitting, baking… I could go on! I have always enjoyed crafting of some sort but my favourite is sewing. I get so much pleasure from cutting up fabrics then sewing them back together to create something new. I love to appreciate the time, care and skill people put into their handmade things and I’m really looking forward to this new adventure.

charity hotrum – guest designer
My name is Charity and I have been scrapping since 1997. I have three teen/tween children, 3 cats, and a cozy home in Washington state. I work as a care giver to the home bound. On sunny days, you can find me gardening or soaking up the beauty at one of our nearby parks. On rainy days, I curl up with a favorite book or fill the house with the scent of freshly baked cookies. As a paper crafter, I work best in the morning hours. I love to wake up early, put on the coffee, and create glamorous off the page projects from ordinary items. Visit my blog Scrappin’ Chaos for a taste of the unexpected!
sally mitton – guest designer
Hi, I’m Sally, I’m from the East Midlands in England. I’m married with 3 grown up children and 2 grandsons, I’ve got a lovely dog called Molly and yesterday we collected 3 Bluebell Chickens who are settling in nicely (in their chicken house). I started sewing at school when we used a hand cranked machine and we all had to make a gym skirt and a door stop, my teacher unpicked all my tacking because the stitches weren’t the right length!! That didn’t put me off though and I’ve been sewing ever since (on and off). I’m looking forward to seeing all your lovely craftiness and makes and enjoying the journey with you all x

mischelle smith – guest designer
Hello, Hello! I’m Mischelle Smith. I’ve been stamping/creating for over 20 years now. I’ll link my bio below. I’m an Artist in Residence for Imagine Crafts and I’m on the Vera Lane Studio Design Team. I am very selfish with my time so only spend it creating with products I LOVE! I have mostly designed for publication and that is truly my first love. I find great joy in sending projects to Stampington & Co. for their various publications. I think Stampington and Canvas Corp are a perfect match and I’m excited to start creating!

tilla geller – guest designer
My name is Tilla and in live in Sweden with my husband and two sons. I have been crafting in different ways my whole life and I am still doing it every day. It is a big part of who I am and always have been. Before, I ran my own business full time, crafting, illustrating, sewing and painting, but now I am also a teacher. Art journaling fits my soul and mind and I love to create in a mix of media. On a canvas or in a home;) I have a degree from an international art school and I have also educated others. I love the idea of being part of a design team and I am very happy for this opportunity.

Marie Pickles – Featured Blogger
In 2010, I started learning to sew at a quilting class and really enjoyed it and bag making. I moved on to paper crafting and loved ‘messy crafting’. That led me to stencilling paper and fabric. I’ve always loved colouring and drawing so it was a natural move to designing and making my own quilts, bags, and home decor.
I find colouring very relaxing and do ‘Folk Art’ type painting, up-cycling small pieces of furniture or frames. I am naturally inquisitive and love trying new things; I suppose, I’m a bit of a crafting butterfly and enjoy hybrid crafts, mixing all types of things to create something that pleases me and spurs me on to try something different.
So here they are – our Canvas Corp Home Decor Guest Designers and Featured Bloggers.
They will soon start sharing their project with us so make sure that you stay put.
Until then… enjoy your crafting!
