Metal angels

Hi everyone, today it’s my turn to show you my own projects illustrating this metal theme.

The first one is an old bike wheel that I turned into a kind of “scrapboard”.

It’s very easy to do. As a start, remove the air chamber from the tire and only keep the metal frame. Wash it carefully and brush it with some Glimmer Glam. I pick this girly “be positive” color because this project is designed to my daughter’s bedroom. My advice is to pick up a rather dark color so that it shows up well against this particular material. Let it dry and add up another coat.

Then, take all sorts of paperclips, clothes pegs… and use them to hang up your photos and embellishments. Recycle your lovely postcards or your old badges.. For my own scrapboard, I chose the nature chipboards bird and dragonfly.

Look how well the Glimmer Glam shows up and shines on this metal wheel!!

For this second project, I created a layout with some aluminium foil that I stuck on a chipboard. Then, I sprayed “Orange Crush” Glimmer Glaze and once it has dried, I added up some “Peach Bellini” Glimmer Glam.

I put on star chipboards and wings as well as a “Journey” card.

And my last project concerns the rebirth of a very old fashioned pair of earrings… I tried Midnight Rendez vous Glimmer Glaze and Blue Suede shoes Glimmer Glam on it and I love them much more the way they are now !

So, do not hesitate: try your Glimmers on métal, you’ll see, the result is amazing ! See you ! Benedicte
