New Release – 7gypsies Wanderlust Collection

We are so excited to introduce you to one of our two releases this fall, Wanderlust.  When we started the adventure of designing this collection we had no idea it would turn out quite so beautiful.  We wanted a collection that was fresh, inspiring and still oh so vintage and we could not be more excited with the end results.  This collection is most definitely about travel, but not simply pack your bags travel, but travel to new places in your life, a journey to do something never been done and the encouragement to seek new roads.  Wanderlust is a strong desire to travel…travel through life, journey to far away places, experience new things, never stay status quo and thus the name for the collection.

While you will find amazing vintage cameras, suitcases and carpet bags, you will also find classic architecture, beautiful doors and amazing washing of watercolor that tie this pretty collections together.  ‘Travel through newly opened doors, grab a suitcase for the adventure, don’t miss a shot through the lens…never miss an opportunity even the littlest ones – travel, dream, create, try, change and just be.

Wanderlust:  19560 Pack Your Bags – The vintage travel case materials are perfect to cut to 4×6 or less and create mini books, journals, photo mats, tags, cards, die cuts and more.  The cardstock is perfect for anything you can imagine.  This sweet little travel journal was created with a combination of these papers cut and the Canvas Corp Journal Lines on Kraft and you are ready to capture those perfect memories.

The Wanderlust papers fill the pages of the new 7gypsies Starter Journals – these blank books are available in kraft and ivory papers and are the perfect starting place for journals, agendas, planners, mini books and more.  3 sizes – mini, 5×7 and 8.5×11 and made from cardstock weight, you add the cover and fill the pages, perfect for a travel log!!!

Wanderlust:  19561 Stay Focused – The pages are filled with vintage cameras and inspirational sayings.  We love to turn these awesome papers into 4×6 file folders that are perfect for organizing photos, giving them as gifts or showing them off in a fun 7gypsies crate.  The look great with the Naked 4×6 File Folders – sporting its vintage manila paper.

Wanderlust: 19562 Open New Doors – These ATC size doors, windows, keys and key holes are all perfect embellishments when cut down to size.  The doors and windows each feature an inspirational saying and the keys and key holes feature beautiful watercolors.  The are great backgrounds, pieces for the 7gypsies ATC Letterblock tray or perfect for tags, just punch a hole and add a tassel of cord, ribbon or lace.  This tray Lynne created will be on the blog very soon.

Wanderlust: 19563 Find Adventures – the beauty of vintage architecture topped with a beautiful watercolor technique is featured on side one and the beauty of a vintage tote with wallpaper from hotels of the past.

Bits and pieces from the papers are perfect for making trays, shadowboxes, canvases and more.

Wanderlust: 19564 Be Free – The beauty of the watercolor technique used in this collection is amazing with this paper, ladies dancing and being free….travel in and out of your mind and let yourself discover new and wonderful places and things.  Cover the front of the journal with one of the background papers and cut labels, tags and sentiments to add to the front and onto the pages of your journal.

Wanderlust: 19656 Take Chances – Vintage travel stickers that adorn most suitcases and trunks feature places one has been.  The gypsies have transformed these vintage stickers with inspiration for reaching new places in the future, while another beautiful architecture piece fills side two.

Wanderlust: Junque Book – something new for 7gypsies are these fun little mixed media books that the gypsies refer to as Junque Books.  These clever little books are created with 6×6 pieces of fabric, journal lines, burlap and fluted paper and then bound together with a canvas binding.  6 inside papers and two sided printed front and back covers.  Pages can be inked, stamped, stenciled, painted, journaled, sewn, stitched….the possibilities are endless.  Along with the Junque Book, there are also two Junque Packs to choose from Bright & Beautiful and Soft & Stable.  No two are the same and each pack is filled with pieces of fabric, lace, tags, papers, flute, burlap, lace and more.

This collection will begin shipping this week with the file folders to come very soon.  The companion collection Ordre du Jour will release next week.  They are amazing on their own and together they are stunning.  Ordre du Jour is all about agendas, planners and journals in a vintage, gypsy style.
