For me Christmas always comes alive in the kitchen. The scrumptious smell of baked cookies, chocolate and spice. Creating new traditions and reminiscing about old ones with special recipes for every meal of the holiday season.
Keeping holiday traditions alive, making them fun and fresh is just what Ursula Carmona, Homemade by Carmona, has done in a recent Christmas project blog tour.
Ursula decided to put a spin on her holiday tradition by making festive kitchen aprons and treat bags with the youngest members of the family. Involving kids in these activities helps them create special family memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.
We are so excited about the projects Ursula and her young apprentices made using supplies from our Canvas Corp and Tattered Angels lines. These are just some of the CCB products that she used;
–Canvas Craft Apron Double Pockets
-Canvas Drawstring Sac’s (5×7″)
–Berrylicious Glimmer Glam paint
Each apron and treat bag were simple to make. They can be personalized for every member of the family and made into special gifts. Think of the baker or chef in the family, grandparent, sibling, and special teacher. Everyone loves a homemade apron.
On Ursula’s blog, she shows you how to create your own holiday aprons and treat bags with easy to follow instructions, accompanied by step by step photos with supplies from Canvas Corp Brands. Here’s a sneak peak of all the creative fun this project has to over. Can you tell we are smitten?
Hurry on over to Ursula’s blog to start making your own before the holidays are over. If not, create these for that special party or event. Ursula’s blog is jammed pack with lots of DIY ideas, we are so glad she chose Canvas Corp Brands to be apart of her holiday needs.
