Most of the kids are still at home for the summer and some parents are probably starting to run out of ideas on how to keep them entertained.
Well… look no further. Today, Angélique Jarrier has for you a homemade slime recipe which she tested with her two children and… guess what? They loved it!
Hello! Today, I have for you a family activity to take care of your children during the holidays. A simple and fun activity, which requires very little material and that will please your children. My children have been asking me for a long time to make some homemade slime with them. So we took some time together to spend having some creative fun.
You will need very few materials; you probably already have at home: clear liquid glue, laundry detergent and, of course, Tattered Angels mists. – shares Angelique.
To make the slime, you will need:
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Crimson, Graphite
Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist – Pot of Gold
Tattered Angels Baseboard Mist – Wave
Clear liquid glue
Laundry detergent
Gold glitter
The first step is to put a cup of glue in a bowl.
We added a few drops of glimmer mist – it’s perfect to add some colour and sparkle to our slime. Mix it well.
The same amount of detergent is added, little by little. Mix by hand until the mixture no longer sticks to your fingers.
That’s it! Done! your homemade slime is ready!
My 4-years-old son also wanted to try out the recipe.
This time we wanted to achieve a more matte color so we used Chalkboard paint.
We then added some glitter into our mix.
His glittery yellow slime was ready in no time!
So easy and so much fun! We are sure it’s a great project not only for the kids but for the whole family. You could also try mixing various colours of Tattered Angels mists to create your own shades.
What a great way to keep the little ones entertained on a rainy day!
